5 Influential Parenting websites

Leader #1: Jessica Joelle Alexander

Jessica Joelle Alexander is an expert in Danish Parenting and a bestselling author.

Her book “The Danish Way of Parenting: What the happiest people in the world know about raising confident, Capable Kids.” talks about how the Danish People who are rated as the happiest people in the world raise their kids.

As we moved from Egypt to Germany twice. Changing homes 7 times in 10 years with 3 kids was getting really overwhelming.

That’s when I got really interested in simplifying life. Trying to eliminate distractions is one of the main things I coach my clients to do.

Which got me really interested in Hygge and the Danish way. So when I discovered Jessica Joelle Alexander, it was like I found my calling.

What is better than combining Hygge with Parenting!

I’m not saying that people should follow everything the Danish parents do, as each family is unique in its own way and thus needs it’s own environment.

But opening our minds to new parenting ways is a mind opener and helps us raise our children creatively.

Leader #2: Lizzie Assa and the workspace for children

I’ve been following Lizzie Assa for years. She is a Parenting strategist and a Play Advocate.

She’s a mother of three, has a master’s in education, and the creator of “the workplace for children.”

On her website and Instagram account, she shares how to create invitations to play to expand the child’s mind and increase development.

I love that she uses open-ended toys and materials to create those play prompts. Which enhances the child’s imagination, creativity, and development in a fun organic way that is natural to the child.

She’s genuinely doing an inspirational job, and her account is so colorful and attractive.

Please bare in mind that it took Lizzie Assa years to collect this amount of toys. Buying so many toys at once overwhelms the child rather than help them focus.

Leader #3: The Bucket List Family

The Gee family is a family of 5 who travels the world with their 3 children, working as Travel Journalists.

They sold everything they have in 2015 to go on a trip around the world for 6 months with their daughter Dorothy and their Son, Manilla.

And they have been traveling ever since “that’s real influential parenting”.

I dream of traveling the world with my family as I know the kind of experiences and depths Traveling the world can bring a child.

I love how Dorothy, Manilla, and Calihan learn about the world by touring the world rather than learning about it from a screen at home.

Garett and Jessica are superb dedicated and present parents, and they set a fantastic example for parents around the world.

Their journey is so inspiring. And I genuinely wish for every parent to decide to go outside and discover your city and create memories with their family.

Leader #4: Sunnyseed & Co

Sami of Sunnyseed & Co is a reading specialist, who like me, believes in a whole-istic approach to motherhood.

She shares simple learning tips and non-toxic solutions to boost child development.

She also shares ways to create a healthy home environment using natural, environmentally friendly products.

Who wouldn’t love to provide their children with a healthy non-toxic environment. I know I do.

She has a great list of book recommendations on her website for each age, from babies to middle school.

Which I believe is an incredible resource for all parents who want to help their children become lifetime readers.

Leader #5: Our Muslim Homeschool

Homeschooling is a subject that concerns every parent, especially after the Covid-19 situation and locks down.

And Gemma Elizabeth, a homeschool coach, is doing a great job in helping mothers and fathers worldwide create a non-stressful home school environment for their children.

She shares how to begin homeschooling, the best curriculums to follow, and she has a program called launch your homeschool.

Even if you are not a homeschooling mom but want to assist your child with their education. You’ll find everything you need on our Muslim homeschool.

Despite sharing a fantastic array of resources targeted at Muslim families, she also has something for everyone. Go check her out and let me know what you think.

Conclusion

As you can see from these great influential parents, they are doing a great job in shaping the world of parenting by taking the initiative and creating the life they want.

From creating real-life experiences to homeschooling, they all share a whole-istic approach to life. Which I believe is a blessing once you start letting go of the “norms” and start looking outside the box.

Those are a few of my favorite things—parents who inspire me to keep on doing what I’m doing.
