“May the beautiful month of Ramadan sprinkle you with pleasure with joys that you will cherish for the rest of your life.”
اللهم قرِّبني فيه إلى مرضاتك، وجنبني فيه من سخطك ونِقماتك، ووفِّقني فيه لقراءة آياتك، برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين.
Allah on this day take me closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from your anger and punishment, grant me the opportunity to recite your verses by your mercy, O the most merciful.
Why use this Calendar
Ramadan is a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims all over the world.
It can be a difficult time for children to understand and participate in, especially if they don’t feel connected and have little background knowledge about it.
That’s why we’ve created this printable daily calendar to help teach your children about Ramadan!
Each day has a different activity or task that will help them learn more and enjoy this special month.
How to use it?
The calendar is in pdf form so that you can easily print it. The pdf contains both English and Arabic versions, so feel free to use whichever you like.
You can use it as a standalone tool or alongside other Ramadan resources.
We recommend printing out the calendar and laminating it for longer-lasting use. Then, hang it up somewhere where your children will see it every day.
Alternatively, you can keep the pdf on your electronic devices and open it daily to check the day’s activity.
Here are some ideas on how to use the printable calendar:
Each day the child gets a card. Each card has a task to do. According to your child’s age, choose the difficulty of the task.
- Have your children read the daily activity aloud and then do it together. This is a great way to help them learn new information while also spending time with you.
- If your children are old enough, ask them to complete the activity by themselves. This will help them learn independence and responsibility.
- Suppose your child is young and can’t read. Help them read it and do the task together. Talk about the card and why this deed is important.
- Get your children involved in preparing for Ramadan by doing the activities together. This will help teach them about the importance of this month and how they can contribute.
At the end of Ramadan, have a family discussion about what they learned and what they enjoyed most.
We hope you find this calendar helpful and that it brings your family closer together this Ramadan!
May Allah bless you and your family during this special month!
